Afa-n-Tmezgadiwine
(Jebel El Kest)
2375m

The Quartzite peaks of the Jebel El Kest range dominate the skyline north of Tafraout. At 2375m, reaching the summit of the highest mountain in the area is certainly a challenge, even for the seasoned hillwalker. The complex, rugged terrain and the unrelenting African sun both make things more challenging and potentially very serious outing if not give the respect they deserve.

But with a determined approach, and some help from our qualified and experienced mountain guides, this amazing peak awaits the hardy, and will reward those that dare to try with 360 views of the surrounding peaks and far beyond. We offer several ways to tackle the peak from the ancient trade routes to more adventurous scrambling terrain.
